In Budapest visit the very beautiful
Dohany Synagogue, along with the Jewish Museum and Holocaust Memorial.  Take a boat ride down the Danube to the quaint artist's village of Szentendre and see the smallest synagogue in the world.  During the summer visit JDC's camp for children. See donated dollars at work.

The magical city of Prague is a joy to visit.  The Jewish Section of Old Town brings you to the Alta/Neu Synagogue, Jewish Cemetery, where you can see the tombs of Rabbis Lowe and Mordechai Maisel and the Spanish and Maisel Synagogues.  Cross the historic Charles Bridge to the Golden Lane where Kafka lived.  On to the Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral.  A day visit to Terezin,  
the "show-case" concentration camp is a must from Prague.  Meet Jewish students from the university and members of the Jewish Community.
